Well, after such long hard training, I finally am taking a well deserved break from the gym.
But, I can't just NOT work out...
I'm starting again Insanity: The Asylum Vol 2!!

(You can buy it here if you wanna give it a shot... it's super challenging and great for athletes & wanna-be athletes :)

Its funny how after all those months of training for a comp, I feel like I got better at it, as compared to the first time I did this program. Well... it is just the first workout..

Anyway, I'm gonna continue at this one until Shaun T's new workout, T25 comes out..
Gotta love those Shaun T workouts.

Also planning on ordering Body Beast sometime soon... for when I'm done with my break and ready to get back into weights ;)
(I'm sure they have gyms in Japan.... I would actually take this one with me overseas and complete it over there! Protein shouldn't be a problem given the amount of fish I will probably be eating there LOL)

Placing 5th at Empire States Championships 2013 - My First Fitness Show

After training long and hard since November, the time had finally come to drag my bruised and battered booty up onto the stage.
At first, no lie, I almost had a nervous breakdown.
I wanted to leave.
Only a few hours before the show, I escaped and sat outside the lobby, just munching on the bag of free sample protein bars they gave to all competitors.
How could I drag my sorry butt onto the stage, in an itty bitty bikini, in front of so many strangers, surrounded by so many girls who were so much more fitter, firmer, more tones, etc etc than ME?!
Well... so I thought...
After my teammates calmed my nerves (and I realized I had already shelled out so much time and money to even get THIS far), I thought what the hey... and if I do poorly, I can always look back at it and laugh.

However, lucky enough for me, there was no laughing going on that night...

I ended up taking home 5th!
(Considering they onloy give prizes up to 5th, I had literally JUST made it!! But... nonetheless I made it!!)


It was all worth it.
In fact, I even think I could do it again!
Actually, I would do it again, if it wasn't because I know I'll be travelling out of country so soon...
It's gonna really suck to leave my team.
I had just come this far, and now that I have the initial experience, I'm really looking forward to going at it again and working out the kinks.
Maybe next time I'll place 3rd...
and then 2nd....
and ultimately.....................

but first!!!!............
I JUST HAD TO PIG OUT FOR AT LEAST ONE NIGHT!!

It's ok.... I'll eat healthy again tomorrow... ;)
